Open Access Policy

Open access peer review refers to the peer review process used by journals that publish open access articles. In open access peer review, the identities of the authors, reviewers, and often the editor handling the manuscript may be disclosed to one another. This transparency aims to enhance accountability, promote constructive feedback, and foster trust in the peer review process. By making the peer review process more open, it can contribute to the quality and reliability of published research while promoting greater engagement and dialogue within the scientific community.

Open access promotes the exchange of research articles across all disciplines, facilitates interdisciplinary research, and ensures global accessibility, including for researchers in all countries and the general public. While embracing the open access model, our Journal acknowledges the value of diverse forms of scholarly communication.

All published articles in Journal are entirely open access, freely available to read, downloaded, and shared instantly. All users are granted a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual right of access to, and a licence to copy, use, distribute, transmit, and display the work publicly, as well as the right to make and distribute derivative works, in any digital medium for any responsible purpose, subject to proper attribution of authorship, as well as the right to make small numbers of printed copies for their personal use, by the author(s) and copyright holder(s).

Our Journal is committed to open access, ensuring that all published articles are instantly accessible worldwide under an open access license. Here's what it entails:

Universal Access: Everyone enjoys free and unrestricted access to the full text of all articles published in the Journal of Pioneering Medical Sciences.

Permissions: No special permissions are necessary to reuse any part of an article, including figures and tables. Articles under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license allow reuse without permission, as long as the original article is clearly cited.

Licensing and copyright information: Our Journal endorses and applies the standards and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), to ensure the rigorousness of the review and publication process.
